According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, many of the recalled items present a safety concern or a choking hazard!
According to the Vancouver Sun, the largest Fisher Price item recalled is its trikes and “Tough” trikes. Over seven million are recalled. It was reported that ten children fell and hurt themselves against an “ignition key” area on the toy. Health Canada stated, “A child can strike, sit, or fall on the protruding ignition key, resulting in serious injury including genital bleeding.”
